Back To School Tips For Parents

Back to School Here’s First News’ handy guide to helping you get ahead this school year. - Re-establish a morning routine. While you can relax the schedule a little, encourage a morning routine towards the end of summer. Encourage your kids to wake up no later than a certain time and try and do something healthy and productive for the first 30 minutes of their day, like reading , or catching up on the news. - Set up a breakfast station Make breakfast as stress-free as possible by getting all the food/drinks you need out and putting them in a certain area in your kitchen or dining room for your kids to access easily. Choose healthy, simple options that will set them up for the day.  Slide into a bedtime routine Bedtimes often slip thanks to the long summer nights. We would be glad to accept  books and other library-beneficial items from your home. We believe in re-using and re-purposing items and are open to suggestions and collaborations.  Enriching the scope  available books in our Space is one of the  practical steps necessary to inspire a love of reading in our communities,  neighbourhoods and country at large. New Era puzzles- Word Search Books

A  word search, word find, word seek, word sleuth or mystery word puzzle  is a word game  that consists of the letters of words placed in a grid, which usually has a rectangular or square shape. The objective of this puzzle is to find and mark all the words hidden inside the box. The words may be placed horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Often a list of the hidden words is provided, but more challenging puzzles may not provide a list.   Many word search puzzles have a theme to which all the hidden words are related such as food, animals, or colours. The puzzles have, like crosswords   and arrow-words , become very popular.    Find some books and games on  word search at the Shared Space for yourself and your children . Word search books
