Beating Plastic pollution; our part at Shared Space

No to Plastic

In line with World Environment Day, which focuses on beating plastic pollution this year, Shared Space shared this sentiment and created painting canvases by recycling cardboard and bin bags for aprons in their first Sip and Paint event in 2023.

Landfill-biodegradable aprons can be recycled or disposed of in the general rubbish bin. Once disposed of the landfill, biodegradation is accelerated approximately 90%+ faster than conventional plastic aprons, producing organic matter (a natural fertilizer) and no microplastics.

We at the shared space will encourage all and sundry to get involved in beating plastic pollution by recycling. Enjoy some photos from the process.
