Introducing Clubs for 'Saturday Special'

Join a club

Do you have a passion for learning local languages, STEM, writing, reading, learning a new skill like sewing that you want to take to the next level?

A great way to grow your skills is to start a creative club at the Shared Space, where you can share your work with others who are invested in cultivating the same craft. Working with people who share similar interests to you is both fun and incredibly rewarding.

We have revived and improved on our Saturday Special programs with the  introduction of very child-friendly clubs to help your child develop, learn and enjoy a new skill.

Spend an hour or two on Saturday morning with one of these clubs:

Local Languages Club- Nelson Mandela said "“If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his own language, that goes to his heart.” This Club was birthed on International Mother language day to encourage and enhance communication in Ewe, Ga and Twi (for now). We believe the children we interact with will birth many solutions to the problems Ghana, Africa and the world currently face, and should be equipped to have tools and skills for stakeholder engagements with our local communities.

Sewing Club- Learning to sew can save money. There is a sense of accomplishment that comes with being able to make something on your own. Sewing is a great hobby and you’ll never be sorry you learned how! It’s a hobby that continues to give for as long as you sew. Sewing is an important life skill and is the vehicle to teach self-confidence through skill-building. Sewing helps you develop fine motor skills, improves your focus and concentration and teaches the importance of patience and self-control. Join us learn!
